Our founding Director has been a victim of stalking and harassment for approximately 15 years. Through her experiences in Maryland, she witnessed firsthand the lack of services for stalking victims and the significant gaps in policies, laws, and training. There is a concerning absence of resources and awareness regarding the biopsychosocial and financial toll it takes on victims of abuse and their families. We aim to help identify services and safety measures available to victims sooner.

"Just stalking" is dedicated to supporting Marylanders by providing tangible tips, resources, and advocacy related to stalking victimization and its impact on victims. Our goal is to educate individuals about stalking behaviors, which can escalate into abuse and harassment, particularly during the critical two-week stalking threshold.

We’re excited to launch a new survey to better understand the experiences and effectiveness of Peace & Protective Orders used to manage stalking and harassment in Maryland. This initiative aims to gather insights that will help us advocate for better policies, improve educational materials on abuse, and strengthen community outreach efforts for victims.
